Rockets From The Past
This page includes images of players that have played for the Rocket at some point in their career. They aren't all all-stars, but there are a couple of Hall of Fame guys mixed in there. The newest additions to this page are: Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, & Kelvin Cato.
Stars & Starters
These are the main guys. The head-liners. The men who when the game was on the line, they were on the court. We cheered them, and sometimes cursed them, but we always were their fan. I knew Hakeem Olajuwon would one day grace this page. I just didn't know (and I never expected) it would come BEFORE he retired.

Bench & Role Players
These are the guys who didn't get all the glory. They came in off the bench to provide a spark or fufill a need. They were never the "go-to" guy, but sometimes did hit a clutch shot or two to win a game. Most of them will never come close to the Hall-of-Fame, but we'll always remember them fondly. They are in "semi-order" of how much I like them as Rockets.

Most of these guys I don't have any images of besides the ones here. There are a couple that you can click on. We'd like to forget that some (not all) of these guys ever put on a Rocket uniform. Well, actually a couple of them haven't exactly "put on" a Rocket uniform, but they have a connection somehow. I actually do have a picture of Mirsad Turkcan. He never suited up for the Rockets, but for those who are curious as to what we drafted, you can take a look.

Ex-Rockets Who I Don't Care For
How can anyone respect a guy like Scottie Pippen? He whines his way out of a great situation here in Houston, which he got himself into. He came here and got his big payday he couldn't get in Chicago, then complained that he wasn't being 'involved' in the offense enough. Or what about a guy like Vernon Maxwell? I was a BIG fan of Mad Max. I argued on his behalf many times against other fans who had something negative to say about him. But, what he did was inexcusable. He simply walked out on the Rockets, his teammates, and his fans ... at the beginning of the PLAYOFFS no less. I think he thought the team couldn't win without him, well he was wrong.
